SAFETY COMES FIRST ON OUR JOBSITE

At Lowe Mechanical Services Ltd., the safety and health of our employees takes precedence over production. Every employee is entitled to a safe and healthy work environment. Management is committed to developing and maintaining a company safety and health program in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements.


As part of this "safety first" mandate, Lowe has worked diligently to achieve COR™. The Certificate of Recognition Program (COR™) is an occupational safety and health accreditation program which confirms that we have implemented a safety and health program that meets national standards. The objective of the program is to eliminate any foreseeable hazards that may harm our employees, clients, property, the environment, or the public.

In accordance with the safety program, Lowe staff are trained and tested in the following:

  • Aerial Lift Safety

  • First Aid

  • Fork Lift Operation

  • MOPIA (Manitoba Ozone Protection Industry Association)

  • Standard First Aid

  • TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods)

  • Working Alone

  • Confined Space

  • Fall Protection

  • Hearing Testing

  • Safety Committee Training

  • Supervisors Training

  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
